What's going to happen to Target ?

I play in a (rather good if I say so myself) band Target www.targettheband.biz - yes that's me with the bass thing. I'll play out through April and then it's new bass dude time. Will miss it though. Today Han (in the middle without bass thing) announced she's going to travel too, about end of April too so that's mega news - at least we'll all play out gigs in April.

It's a tough job.............

but if Reggie Perrin can do it........... ?

It starts here.......

Yes it's true - after 25 years I'm leaving RM ! It's been a hoot with relatively few exceptions, and an absolute privilige to have been part of RM's growth through the years, working with so many great people who have made it so memorable - so much has happened over the years ! I'm also fantastically grateful to RM for supporting me through some difficult personal times in the past.

So now Susan and I have the chance to take a significant time out, and it would be negligent not to do so we feel (!) - and so we are both leaving our jobs and taking time to enjoy the things we always talked about and that permanent employent doesn't allow.

To mark the occasion and say thanks to all at RM, plan is for a two stage celebration

1. A lunchtime drink in the Fox Steventon tomorrow (fri 27th Jan) 12.30 onwards

2. Combined with Ben and Sharon, and evening celebration in early March to really mark the occasion before Ben and Sharon leave for their 'new life' in NZ after so many years at RM - more to follow as to date/venue etc

My leaving RM has been in the pipeline, but arrangements not finalised until recently - so my last day at RM will be 31st Jan, quite soon - I'll be round to see friends and debtors (!) before I go - if I miss you hopefully we can catch up at the Fox tomorrow, the event in March, or when I'm in RM from time to time.
